Easy Instructions for zipped files.

Some folks have not had much experience with zipped folders, so I have a wee instruction page here.

The stills are delivered in a zipped folder. (also called compressed archive).The reason for this is that it makes one complete package. This way if you download the one package you can be sure that you are not missing any images. Also I sometimes make a folder within the delivery folder with selected images inside it, and a zipped folder easily keeps the images in the folder the way I want you to get them.

It just means that you will need to unzip (or sometimes called extract) the file once you have downloaded it.                 Don't worry, its easy.

To download the zipped folder from the delivery page:

 1) Begin Download - On the Delivery Page click on the folder name for the property you want to download. (or double-click or right-click and choose download, this depends on your computer )

 2) Choose where to save it - (your computer will likely ask where you want to save it to)

To Extract or Unzip the file:

1) Unzip the saved version - when the file has finished downloading find the zipped file you just downloaded. 

Right-click the file,  and then choose "extract to" or "unzip to" . (different programs call it different things)

2) Choose where to unzip to - (where you keep your photos)

Now you can use the stills in the unzipped folder.

You can delete the file from the zipped folder now, because you have an unzipped version on your computer and you don't need to waste space on duplicates.
